i need to do reporting for my project

Hello guys,

   i am fresher to c#. i am doing my 1st project of my life please help me in this.

my question is :

     i am using MSaccess database and i need reporting part. i need to get report depend on date field. so how can i do that can u explain. what are the steps i need to follow and what code i need to write.

   pleases help me guys this is really very urgent.

If your fresher and working on any project, from my opinion you must work with crystal report as it has various functionalities and you would get plenty of code on internet. Also that would be little hectic in start but as considering your fresher you will learn more in this and will be beneficial for your future as it will add as an +1 in your profile.

If your reporting requirements are not very complex, and I don't thing it will be, there is reporting solution within MS-Access as well.

Hi,
If you want more flexible reports use Crystal repots of SAP.
There are lots of functions in there.
Let me give you the idea.
Take a form put two date textboxes or calendar for date selection.
Create a simple crystal report to just show all the records from the table.

Now add a Crystal report view on form and give .rpt file as the source.
Run the project.
You will get a basic report.
