Icons in VB .netCF programs

Question

I just completed a program for the pocket pc in VB.net/VS 2003. All compiled and installed ok and I was even able to assign it an icon for the build. But, when it display's on the pocket pc I can't get a consistent icon to display in both the larger program listing and the smaller shortcut's. Can anyone give any tips or tell me if there is a certain size icon that pocket pc requires. I converted a jpg to icon, would another type such as .tif do better?
