Insert created date(now) and created by(username) in asp.net

This is easy and simple.

For the date you could set your script like this when creating your table:

 

[RowCreatedDateTime] [datetime] DEFAULT GETDATE(),  

 

For the users, you would need to get the user id who logs into your website and then use that to insert into your database. I've written a step by step tutorial that covers this here:
