Installation of VS 2017 Over VS 2012

Habeeb

Hi,

i have Visual Studio 2012 in my system and there are 4 Big Projects that i have coded using VS 2012 IDE and these projects are live in Production.

If i download and install Visual Studio 2017 in my system (To Practice ASP.NET Core) , will it effect the .sln Files or Configuraiton Filles or cause any problem to the Existing 4 Projects?

For the exisinting Projects, i still want to use VS 2012 only.

Please advise.

Hello Habeeb

You can use both vs 2012 and 2017 in your system. for your old project you can use vs 2012 and if you want to create new project in vs 2017 you can.it will not conflit in your project, even you can use vs 2019 also. You can use multiple version of visual studio in your system.
