Installation of VS 2017 Over VS 2012

Question

Hi,

i have Visual Studio 2012 in my system and there are 4 Big Projects that i have coded using VS 2012 IDE and these projects are live in Production.

 

If i download and install Visual Studio 2017 in my system (To Practice ASP.NET Core) , will it effect the .sln Files or Configuraiton Filles or cause any problem to the Existing 4 Projects?

 

For the exisinting Projects, i still want to use VS 2012 only.

 

Please advise.
