Interface in C#

1)What is Interface.

2)Why do we use Interface in project.

3) Interface follow ,which OOPS principal.

4) In project,where have u used Interface.Please give me 2-3 examples.

5)Using of Interface over Abstract class....i mean to say,why we do use Interface that is not done by Abstract class.

One parent class can have many child classes inherited from its parent class. But C# will not allow a child class to inherit from many parent classes. Because one child can't have many parents, this is a real world scenario. In other words multiple inheritances are not allowed in C#. In order to fulfill such a need Interfaces are introduced in C#.

Hi,

An interface looks like a class, but has no implementation. The only thing it contains are declarations of events, indexers, methods and/or properties. The reason interfaces only provide declarations is because they are inherited by classes and structs, which must provide an implementation for each interface member declared.
