Is there any API for WhatsApp available currently?

I have requirement for my webapp for marketing through webapp within which I have to send a message to Bulk contacts. Is there any API currently (22-Aug-2017) available for WhatsApp. When I Googled it I found an API from GitHub (https://github.com/rafaellincoln/WhatsAPINet) which is when i found is blocked by Whatsapp. Please let me know the existence of WhatsAPI or else Is there any other method to achieve this requirement?

Hey, you can use Wassenger.com, which provides a simple HTTP API for sending automated messages via WhatsApp. It's not an official product though, but it works and does not require any WhatsApp Business account, so it works with any WhatsApp valid account in any country.
