Issue in conecction of sql server with openfire???

hi frnds..

i want to make a connection with open fire and sqlserver. but when i go for connection process i get the following error...

A connection to the database could not be made. View the error message by opening the "\logs\error.log" log file, then go back to fix the problem.

I have tried a lot and also done goggle, but could not get any solution.

I am using sqlexpress 2005 and openfire 3.10.0.

Please help me out if u have any idea...

Hey Gautham K then please tell me what i should use instead of "TIWARI-PC\SQLEXPRESS"".

check your connection string

set properly server name

Check your SQL server database Instance name, I think the name "TIWARI-PC\SQLEXPRESS"" is your issue

Open the log file to get the detailed error message and write the error in post it will be easy for me to sort out your issue
