JSon validation using Jquery

Hi,

I will get a Json response from an Ajax call, when I receive the data I have to validate the content received has proper Json contents or some unwanted data.

Once I validate the data and if data has proper JSon Content then will parse and convert to object.

Let me know, if any more details required.

hi Bhuvan,
First see the json string if it is a valid or not. There are many online json editor where you can verify the json coming from server is a valid or not.

These urls are
http://www.jsoneditoronline.org/
http://jsonlint.com/

You can use a try catch to validate the json var s =$.parseJSON(jsonstring); if it is a valid it will parse .else handle the exception.
