link in MVC which is in folder

When i create a project on MVC

the link show like this

http://www.ikrabesol.com/index/AboutUs

but i need

http://www.ikrabesol.com/AboutUs

how is it possible.

Add below code RouteConfig.cs
public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes)
{
    routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}");

    routes.MapRoute(
        name: "DefaultTemp",
        url: "{action}",
        defaults: new { controller = "Home", action = "Index"}
    );

    routes.MapRoute(
        name: "Default",
        url: "{controller}/{action}/{id}",
        defaults: new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional }
    );
}
As per above code you can access URL like below:

http://localhost:14901/Home/About/
http://localhost:14901/About/

If you need second URL then you need to remove name as "Default".

Hi,

Here 'Index' is Controller name and 'AboutUs' is action method name. Then you want to hide Controller name. So, pleae look up on the url,
