Power Apps - Make Fields Mandate when certain field meets criteria

Question

Hello,

I have a field (SLA) which populates as OTD Missed or OTD Achieved based on 2 Date fields.

And other 2 fields i.e. Rate 1 and Rate 2.

I need a logic - when SLA says OTD Missed the above fields i.e. Rate 1 and Rate 2 should become mandatory. And if OTD Achieved, this 2 fields should become disabled.

Please advise.

To make Rate 1 and Rate 2 mandatory when SLA = "OTD Missed" , and disabled when SLA = "OTD Achieved" 1. Set Required Property for Rate Fields Use the Required property of the DataCard for Rate 1 and Rate 2: If(DataCardValue_SLA.Selected.Value = "OTD Missed", true, false) This makes the fields mandatory when SLA is OTD Missed . If SLA is OTD Achieved , the fields are not required . 2. Set DisplayMode Property for Rate Fields Use the DisplayMode property to enable/disable the fields: If(DataCardValue_SLA.Selected.Value = "OTD Missed", DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled) If SLA is OTD Missed , the fields are editable . If SLA is OTD Achieved , the fields are disabled . 3. Apply to PowerApps Form Unlock the DataCard for Rate 1 and Rate 2 . Set the Required property using the formula above. Set the DisplayMode property using the formula above.
