Master page and page layout in sharepoint2013

Hi all,

i applied a custom master page to my site collection and i also having an html design for a page in the same sitecollection.

so, i create a new pagelayout using this custom html design for page.

after applying the pagelayout to a new page in my sitecollection the pagelayout is applied along with the master page. i want only the pagelayout to be applied for that page. Not with the masterpage content.

Can anyone help me with this??

Hello Jagdeesh,

You can add tag for master page url to page layout. Provide url for master page you want to apply (if default - v2.master) for pages created using your page layout.
