Methods for Storing Hash Tables?

It would depend on how you where going to use the data. On a project this last spring, I had to deal with storing data for large forms (usually > 100 fields) and almost all the fields were simply stored and retrieved later, no sorting or individual selections or calculations, just store and then read them back in later as a whole and print them. To make my life easy, I used a hashtable to store the values. Then created a table that had a few fields that I did use and a binary field to store the hashtable. Then I would serialize the hashtable and store it in the binary field. Worked great and it added flexibility to the forms, since I did not have to modify the database if they wanted to add or remove fields!
