more than one master page

I am not sure about question but if you are asking about two master page in single web application. It is possible to as many as master page you need. Let's say

1. layout master page for User

2. layoutAdmin master page for Admin side

2. layoutAny master page for Any custom page.

You can choose master page of your required choice while adding view/web page or even you can change later.

Not sure what your question are, but, yes, you can have multiple Masterpage in the Web Application. :) :)
