My Company needs a Project Manager

Hello,

The company that I work for is looking to modernize their custom business application, which is written in COBOL and housed on an IBM i.  We are looking to rewrite from scratch.

 I researched potential platforms and landed on C# and .NET as, what I think, makes the most sense for our company.

We are looking to hire a .NET expert/project manager to, at the very least help with planning of the project. And then manage the project from start to finish. What we are looking for is a consultant to:

• Gather User Requirements
• Prepare a Request for Proposals
• Write technical specifications
• Manage the project from start to finish
• This includes User Acceptance Testing

I am looking to leverage my knowledge of the current system with a .NET expert to complete this project in the best way possible.

I am open to all suggestions.
