Check which Visual studio you are using, if it is visual studio 2008 then it is having 3.5 framework and if you are using vs10 then it having framework4.0, so just check out vs framework , my sql will run on framework 4.0, if it is not with you then download from here :

After that you just embed your code in.cs file for basic sql queries:
