Need alternative to deprecated source

Hi,

 

   Currently I am working on IE 11 and it did not have support to the below source, kindly let me know the alternative way to achieve this.

 

It works when I change compactability settings, but I need the alternative one for this deprecated source.

 

  "x.options[x.selectedIndex].name"
