Nowadays, 5 years is a long time in IT and what may be happening in 10 to 15 years is anybody's guess.
I think you can identify trends now which will almost certainly become very important in the years to come such as cloud computing, robotics, Internet of things and quantum computing. I also think that, now it is being open sourced, .NET will probably be around to encompass these technologies but there's always the possibility that some 'blue sky' technology will emerge which will change everything.
I think the best advice I can give you, or anybody else, is to keep a close idea on developments and try to remain flexible.
If there is something which particularly interests you, then by all means learn all you can about it. However, I wouldn't try to learn things which don't really interest you as you'll soon forget them if you're not using them day to day and so the effort will be wasted.
One comfort we have as .NET developers is that a lot of code has been and will be written in future for the platform. In the years to come someone is going to have to maintain that code whatever else might happen in the meantime and maintenance programming can prove lucrative for programmers in their later years :)
