I have 2 yrs of working experience in .net and SQL Server. I am good at SQL development. I have an overall idea on what .net is but not the whole understanding of it. Now i want to learn the .net related concepts (C#.net, ASP.net, ADO.net etc...) from the beginning.
Please guide me on how to proceed and learn. I want to be a confident C# and ASP.net developer.

Hi,
The best thing would be go for MCAD certification, in this way you will get a chance to explore the concepts of different .Net languages and also at the end of the day you will get certification.
Please let me know if you need any guidence..
Thanks -- Vj

I think that there are a number of good books out there that will get you started in that direction. I think that Stephan Walther's ASP.NET 2.0 Unleashed book is a really great place to start. The Apress book Pro ASP.NET 3.5 in C#2008 book by MacDonald and Szpuszta is a great book too. Troelsens Pro C# with .NET 3.0 is another good one.
You might take a look at the ebook section of this website; there are some pretty good bargains there. Naturally MSDN has a lot of information and a large number of starter projects that you can look at and learn from.
