ng-resource with angular js

use $resource if you know that your service is Restful.

$http can be used for all the service

$resource can be used only for restful.

I'm just giving you an option because I awalys use Web API to work with resource in angular. You should have specified in your question that you are not interested or know already about the $http service stuff.

Again I never tried calling a Web Method in angular but you could try doing something like this if it doesn't hurt you :D

Suppose that you have this WebMethod:

in your app.js declare the app module like:

then in your data service js you do something like this

then define a controller js like:
