All posts are considered when choosing winners for any month.
Some winners are choosen for forum contribution also. Contributions of any form like articles, blogs etc are considered when choosing the winners. So don't worry looking at this page.
If you are contributing in other sections and if your points are in top contributors then you will be entitled for prize next month. The judeges tally the points every month and decide the winners.

This is part of Forum so will only show points from this section.
We can think of showing total points in the author profile page.
