If you want to send SMS on mobile number, you need to use third party service as suggested by @Vishal.

You can use third-party services to send SMS and email from your application for verification. they are providing API support and you can use their API to achieve the task. some sample API proviprovidersion below
There are so many others you can serf. it depends you need international support or within the county only.
