Outlook .Pst Import Apple Mail .mbox

Well not having much knowledge about every mail client's functioning, only knowing the file formats and other basic user's usage, I have to Import mails from windows Outlook 2010 to apple mail on my mac book pro.

I have tried many step following methods but none of them seems to be importing mails entirely, every time i end up with messed up mail boxes and its contents.

How can I transfer all my mails from windows outlook 2010 to mac apple mail, saving all my folder hierarchy and the data in the mails.

You help will be appreciated.

Your best move would be if you search for your problem on some search engine that you use.Typing "Convert Pst To Mac Mail" will land you in several solution.

You can try third party tools for the purpose to export Apple mails mbox file to Outlook pst. Here in this thread, the user George Kemp wants to transfer all his emails from Windows Outlook 2010 to AppleMail email client. AppleMail supports MBOX format, so he needs to perform PST to MBOX conversion. Many of you have recommended third-party tools here. I don't know why. Either you would have used them in your past or you just wanted to promote your own products.

Anyways, that's not the thing we are in need to discuss here. There is an easy manual trick given here in this blog post that will help you convert PST to MBOX format.
