You can't pass ViewState value to other pages.

Passing 300 characters is not an good idea because some browser don't support more much data in query string. Just do an redirect with query string and to use state management technique. You can implement either server side or client side.

 Try to send small data using QueryString.

 

 

Implement Cookie or html5 local storage technique.

 

 

Use Session or Cookie or ViewState.
