Hi All,
I've created one report (SQL server reporting services). I want to add a hyperlink, which redirects to a .aspx page, in one of the columns of the report and need to pass the column value as the parameter. I tried using the 'Jump to URL' property of the textbox. But, i didn't get the desired result. May be i was wrong.
I've given the URL in the 'Jump tp URL' box like this..
"http://localhost/webtools/GetDetails.aspx?&EmpID=" & Fields!EmployeeID.Value
(I want a hyperlink under the EmployeeID column and if anyone clicks on the id..a new page GetDetails.aspx should openup)
I think, the URL is wrong..can anyone plz tell me the correct URL ..??

Try
"http://localhost/webtools/GetDetails.aspx?&EmpID=" & Fields!EmployeeID.Value.ToString()

HI..thanks for the reply. But with this code..will i get a link under the empid column of the report?
It seems you have mentioned a seperate url with name "ClickHere" and binding the URL dynamically. But i need to provide a link under the empid of the report..on clicking that, the user should go to the particular employee details page with empid as parameter...If the code you mentioned serves this purpose, can explain in detail..??

U can bind the navigate url dynamically by using this.
<asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink1" runat="server" Text=ClickHere NavigateUrl='<%# GetNavigateUrl(Container.DataItem) %>'>asp:HyperLink>
public string GetNavigateUrl (object objDRView)
{
if (!object.Equals(objDRView, null))
{

Return "http://localhost/webtools/GetDetails.aspx?EmpID=" + drView["EmpID"].ToString());
}
