Permission denied to streamwriter

I have used the stream writer before but never seen this error. System.UnauthorizedAccessException: 'Access to the path 'C:\Users\openuser\source\repos\OTC_CALL\OTC_CALL\logs' is denied.

I tried running as admin and got the same error. I checked the use the debug runs under and its the same account thats in the file path. I even tried giving full permission to everyone on that file and still got the error. Any suggestions?

Yeah I am an idiot thank you. I noticed I did not include the file name afterwards.

If you are trying to create a filestream object in the directory C:\Users\openuser\source\repos\OTC_CALL\OTC_CALL\logs' then Specify a file name (e.g. @"C:\Users\openuser\source\repos\OTC_CALL\OTC_CALL\logs\test.txt") and the error will go away.
