Playing .au file using C#

Hi,

I have a requirement to play a .au file by selecting it from file explorer first and then once hit on play, it should launch windows media player to play the file. Can someone help me with the code please, thanks.

To my knowledge, the "Wave Parser" DirectShow filter can decode and playback *.au Audio files.
LEADTOOLS .NET Multimedia DirectShow Player control supports playing many media formats including: wav, mp3, au and many other video and audio formats.
The following C# code shows how you can create and use the LEADTOOLS .NET Multimedia player to playback .au audio file:
string auFileName = @"C:\Users\Public\Documents\anderson.au";
PlayCtrl _player = new PlayCtrl(true);
_player.AutoStart = false;
_player.SourceFile = auFileName;
_player.Run();
