Problem in installing SQL Server 2008 R2 management studio

SQLManagementStudio_x86_ENU and SQLServer2008R2SP1-KB2528583-x86-ENU I have these two files i tried to install these two files first file is get installed

and i go with the second one when i tried to install it i got this error (there is no sql server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer) please help me to solve it.

ok,

first of all you need to install sql server 2005.
you can download from following link.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=21844

install and create instance.

after installing these install management studio.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=7593

and you are done.

if you have full version of sql server
en_sql_server_2008_enterprise_x86_x64_ia64_dvd_x14-89207

1. install the SSMS and restart your machine after that install the update.
