Profile name with TOP 100?

Hi,

The author name followed by TOP shows a number in the profile summary at bottom of the article? I curious to know that what is this and how it calculates?

Is it reflected by Rank and something else?

It is to show your rank is in what range. 100 means you are in top 100 members.

HI,
I think it is based on the rank only. However not sure about it. When i checked articles and blogs of various members i felt it is based on rank and myself having rank 395 is in Top 500.
