Protocol for Web service

Basically we will prefer SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) protocol to call web services.

Exchanging data between heterogeneous applications is not that easy as it appears. So one of the method which we use to overcome this complexity is XML. Because every programming language can understand XML markup language.

 

SOAP is an XML based  protocol. So we uses SOAP to access web services. So it will be having some specifications which can be used across all applications.
