Read and write operation in Excel using javascript in ShareP

Question

How to do read and write operation in Excel using javascript in SharePoint . I just want to read data from Excel sheet and that sheet located inside a library in SharePoint . I jsut wanted to read and write operation without opening a excel sheet . Any idea, please suggest . Note : I am using SharePoint online .
