reminder funtionality how to create?

i want to show reminder notification on page.for eg. if admin dept sent reminder to perticular person then when that perticular person login into his page then that time he should see the reminder is there ...how it will be can anyone help?

i have created simple page which sends d reminder but how to get that reminder notification after login perticular person.

Hey Dhanashri, Can u tell me what all fields are you passing to other page and where are you getting the values for the fields from???

In the Session you can set your reminder value and then use it on the other page....

lblReminder.Text = Convert.ToString(Session["Reminder"]);
here Reminder will be what it will be text or id or date

The value that you send.... basically you can store it in a Session Object, So until the user does not logs out... till then the Session will pertain that value...

In short, add the value in a Session Object in this way
Session["reminder"] = your value;

and then assign this value to the label or any other control you want to show on that other page
in this way... Suppose you want to show the value in a Label...

lblReminder.Text = Convert.ToString(Session["Reminder"]);

Its that simple!!! :)
