Hi How to use Remote Validation at Client side if ID Exists or not. If exists then message should be displayed. Thanks

That's what I said, play with true/false, means interchange the conditions. if (count > 0) { return Json( false , JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); } else { return Json( true , JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); }

create a method in the controller as public JsonResult IsExist( int Id) { return Json(!context.Locations.Any(u => u.Id== Id), JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); } decorate the property with the attribute as public class YourClass { [Remote( "IsExist" , "ControllerName" , ErrorMessage = "Id exists" )] public int Id{ get; set; } }
