Renaming Multiple files in folder C#

I have over 200 files in a folder with Names like "Abc_Aucho.txt.202102011200", "Mnz_Aucho.txt.202102011210" I want to Replace this Abc_Aucho.txt.**20210201**1200name with DateTimePicker value on the button click event

Use the VB assembly in C#. Add reference to Microsoft.VisualBasic Then to rename the file: Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.FileSystem.RenameFile(myfile, newName); As File.Move(..) is not an ideal solution

DirectoryInfo d = new DirectoryInfo(@"D:\Test");//Assuming Test is your Folder
FileInfo[] Files = d.GetFiles("*.txt"); //Getting Text files
string str = "";
foreach(FileInfo file in Files )
{
  str =  file.Name.Substring(14);  // all before daatepart

File.Move( file.Name, str+(Convert.ToDateTime(Calender1.SelectedDate)).ToString());

The name is like Abc_Aucho.txt.202102011200 format

First, let me know ,your extension (.txt) is at the last or middle

means names are Abc_Aucho.txt.202102011200 or
Abc_Aucho202102011200.txt;

accordingly , i will tell you how to alter name.

string[] files = Directory.GetFiles(FileBrowser.SelectedPath);
there are {string [200]} value
and i would like to edit all filename where yyyyMMdd value is value from DateTimePicker
Abc_Aucho.txt.yyyyMMdd1200

Hi,
You can replace file name as below .
FileInfo file = new FileInfo("c:\test.txt");
file.Rename("test2.txt");
