Resource is Restful Web Service in .NET

REST: REpresentational State Transfer. It is architectural style of programming which helps to provide web service to out side world. It is very much compatible for high end browser in Mobile, iPadf etc..

Resource: REST provides flexibility by assigning resources (nouns) their own unique Universal Resource Identifiers (URIs). Because each HTTP verb has a specific meaning (GET, POST, PUT and DELETE), REST avoids ambiguity.Resource means a specific object in system like file, custom object..For example http://testAPI/people/tom, which can be operated upon using standard verbs such as http://testAPI/GET/people/tom. Here tom represents a unique object in server.
