Rich TextBox Control

Question

Hi,

I have used one of the control of ajax that is editor for rich text box. I have used it 20 times in just one page and that is my requirements. But due to that page become so heavy and even i am not able to load it also.

So, can any one please help me for better suggestions?

You might try to populate them iteratively dynamically. Once one RTB is complete, only then the script goes on to populate the next one. In that way user would receive data in a sequence so that he can read something until all data arrive. Zoran

This looks like a design problem since amount of data initially loaded on the page is too large. Maybe you could redesign the page so that you have just a simple content instead of every RTB. In each line you would let the user edit content by clicking a button. Only then would you dynamically create and populate RTB. It is in a way similar to this thread's page. You can click Edit on your posts and then ASP.NET would transform simple (passive) post presentation into an editor. That saves a lot of bandwidth and consequently makes the page load faster. Zoran
