role authorization in windows form

Question

Hello, I am working on my windows form project. I want to use role authorization for this project but i did not because i try to make layered architecture and i have five layered , business, dataAccess, entities, core and windows form(user interface). i watched some videos and readed some informantion about Identity, cookies, formsAuthenticationTicket but i guess this subject is about Web Applications,please can you help me about this suubject. What should i do , what should i research?

Hi Talha, For the role base authorization in windows form project, you can create the custom structure with database. 1. Create the UserMaster, RoleMaster and UserRoleMapper tables in database. 2. There are no. of users in UserMaster, Roles in RoleMaster and you can assign the multiple roles to single user by using UserRoleMapper. 3. UserRoleMapper have UserId and RoleId. 4. Just insert the UserId and RoleId for perticuler user i.e UserId RoleId 1 1 1 2 2 1 5. Same way you can give the access to the perticular role from database or from front end.
