I can understand your dilemma for opting a better career track. But you can better judge yourself in terms of your coding comfort and ability. Windows Store or Windows Apps development is slightly good but it is novice and so not so much opportunities as compared to Android market which is slightly older than it. Android development is wider as its users are more. And so Apps are developed targeting Android users. But, in nearer, it will be not the case as hybrid tech tools are breaching this. Windows Phone market is also picking the market day by day. You can find better resources for learning and developing Apps on it. So, it would be also a good choice to making yourself out from crowd of Android developers.
Now, coming to technical, Android is little bit closer to Java. So you can compare it yourself with Windows user interface facility.
