SCOPE_IDENTITY()

How did you come to the resolution that it returns wrong value?

SCOPE_IDENTITY() always returns the last identity value inserted into an identity column in the same scope.

When you say it is returning wrong value, what were you expecting and what did it return?

Please clarfy the exact problem, what is it?
