hi all,

I have a string, let's say like: Leelha-Notcoming-Juniper-Legacy.

Now if I will give 1 then i want only 1st string out of 4. How can i get that? please hlp.

string yourString = "Leelha-Notcoming-Juniper-Legacy";
string result = string.Join( "-",
yourString.Split( new[] { '-' }, count + 1 ).Take( count ) );

2. int index = 1; /*string rank -make sure to check if index is 0,
3. which would throw an error on next statement*/
4. string res = testString.Split('-')[index - 1].Trim();

string a = " Leelha-Notcoming-Juniper-Legacy";
string[] s = a.Split('-');
textBox1.Text = s[1];
