I have a text field that contains a product price. how parametered this field (graphically if possible) to display 3 digit after the decimal point .it's like that (example: 12,500)?

You need to try this..

decimal m = 12.878999m; m = Math.Truncate(m * 1000m) / 1000m; Console.WriteLine(m); // 12.878

inputValue = Math.Round(inputValue, 2);

Yes Abdelwaheb you are right. You should put this code either on form load or after your form object initialization like below.

Example : -
Form1 frm = new Form1( );
double m_ProductPrice = 12500.987654321;

frm.textBox1.Text = m_ProductPrice.ToString("0.000");

i think Sujeet is good because i use winforms application and not a console application.but where i can put this code. is that in the loading of form or where?

Abdelwaheb I think you need to format your product price before assign to text field like below:

double m_ProductPrice = 12500.987654321;

textBox1.Text = m_ProductPrice.ToString("0.000");

O/P: - 12500.988.

Hi,

You may try the below code to get the formatting of 3 places after the decimal point .

decimal due=(decimal)Math.Round(123.456789, 4);
Console.WriteLine(due.ToString("0.000"));
Output : 123.456
