shadow box display in C#

Question

hai guys, today i create a shadow box with various attributes like first name, last name, etc. in that page there is a grid and it has a edit button too its actual function is when i clicked in that button the values with respect to that button gets populated in the fields of the shadow box and it works in that way but my problem is the value is getting populated only when the page is refreshed completely and the shadow box is displayed only when i click the respective button after refreshed. guys please help me to make the shadow box get populated at the time of the click event
