I would also suggest to have some hands on SharePoint Online / Office 365. If will definitely help you in finding SharePoint jobs.

You need to have an experience about 3+ Experience and right now the market for share point 2010 is good..If you are good with 2010 than learn some techniques about the latest features that are added in 2013 like migration,Mobile App will have some weightage to your resume..All the best :)
