Hi,

Is there any way to concat the bit value with empname.In this way want to display to the user in asp.net based on bit value in table for front end users from asp.net checkbox+username.

This is the correct one.But i want to show to the user bit value as checkbox and ename combination.

try this

Create table test
(name varchar(50),
bitfield bit)

insert INTO test VALUES ('test',1)
insert INTO test VALUES ('test1',0)
insert INTO test VALUES ('test2',1)

SELECT Case When bitfield =1 then 'Yes ' + name
ELSE 'No ' + name
END , * FROM dbo.test

Result will be

Yes testtest1
No test1test10
Yes test2test21
