you can do the same way as you have done for first tab panel.

sir how can i bind only one column from existing data list....from code behind when message tab is clicked

You need to use one more DataList to do this (simple) otherwise create separate UserControl and put your data list, then depend on condition bind the column values.
Here is the simple way for Tab Panel 2

Message
Height="117px" Width="221px" onitemdatabound="dlUserName_ItemDataBound"
allowsorting="true" onitemcommand="dlUserName_ItemCommand">

its ok...chat and message are two tabs....when click on chat datalist data will display
of colum1,column2,,,,,when click on message tab then same column1 of same datalisthas to display ...please help with code

problem solved 50%...two panels are there..chat ...and message tabs...by default
chat is coming(in this datalist with columns user,status)...when click on message only user has to be shown
