hello i have a form which i applied a background image to it... this form is holding a tabcontrol. i applied the backcolor to transparent of the tabcontrol but i still see it as gray!

Are you tiling the same image? You can set the tab controls tab pages each to tile the same image using the backgroundImage and backgroundImageLayout properties.
