textbox visible false in asp.net

i have set trDeclvalue.Visible = false; in asp.net

what if i want that control to set visible true in jquery i tried prop ,attr and css

method both are not working jquery

please help

Are you using ajax updatepanel of asp.net because

if (!IsPostBack)
{
trDeclvalue.Visible = false;
}

Please check trDeclvalue.Visible = false; weather code is executing or not if yes than you have to not execute this code on you popup show or button click event.

In Jquery Hide And Show Textbox
$("[id*=trDeclvalue]").show();
$("[id*=trDeclvalue]").hide();

Where you have written this

trDeclvalue.Visible = false;

In page_load or somewhere else.

i have done it but the control gets disapper when text changed event is fired in at page level

You can make textbox style to display:none.

Please post your code for more clarification.
