Trouble with C#

I need help writing a program that accepts a phrase from the user and counts the number of vowels in the phrase. I need to count both uppercase and lowercase vowels except for y.

            int vowelCount = 0;

            foreach (char inputChar in input.ToLower().ToCharArray())
            {
                if (vowels.Contains(inputChar))
                    vowelCount++;
            }

            Console.WriteLine("There are {0} vowels in input string", vowelCount.ToString());
            Console.ReadKey();
