Try the following.

You need to compile with the /unsafe switch:

using System;

class Test
{
unsafe static void Main()
{
int[] arr = {1, 2, 3};

fixed(int* ip = arr) // pins the array on the heap
{
int* ip2 = ip; // need to copy pointer as ip can't be changed
int i = 0;
while(i < arr.Length)
{
Console.WriteLine("Element at index {0} = {1}", i++, *ip2++);
}
}

Console.ReadKey();
}
}

The output should be:

Element at index 0 = 1
Element at index 1 = 2
Element at index 2 = 3
