when i press a start button then update database column value everyday and when i press stop button then database value can not update. how i solve this by asp.net using c sharp from code behind without loading page. Database value will update automatically .

I guess, you want to increase the "total_meal" column value by 2 whenever you click Start button for the particular registration number. In that case you should form the update query as below:

UPDATE your_table SET total_meal = total_meal +2 where registration_number = your_reg_number;

Again when i press a stop button then stop total_meal value.

I didn't get,what you want to achieve when you click "stop" button.

i have two column. such as total_meal and registration_number. i work on asp.net. i have a two button , start and stop button. when i press a button from front end then total_meal value will increase daily by 2 with respect to that registration number. Again when i press a stop button then stop total_meal value.

If you want to have a start and stop button on windows you can not run the solution automatically. You need to write a windows/console application and write your code to update the DB values.
Register that in a windows task scheduler give a schedule a particular time, that will run automatically at a given time.
