uploading pics into database and retrieving from the database when required

I need to upload a picture (jpeg) from the picture box into the database(oracle 9i) using a stored procedure and i need to retrieve the picture from the database into the picturebox again into the database when I require. Iam unable to solve this requirement.I am unable to know the conversion which I have to use.

just check this if it seems to be help full to u .Here i have uploaded the picture in a folder and i have stored the file path in database and while retrieving i am selecting the file name from database and map it to the server path where my images are located
